St. Anne Hospital Foundation 2020 Gratitude Report

In 2020 St. Anne Hospital Foundation transferred an astounding $1.1 Million to the hospital in support of our mission to engage our community so that everyone has access to exceptional health care close to home! Thank you for your donations which allowed the Foundation to support the amazing health care heroes at St. Anne Hospital. This year has been extremely challenging for our frontline workers who have been tirelessly caring for our community throughout the pandemic. The Foundation did many things to support our amazing staff in 2020, and we continue to do whatever we can to show our gratitude for all they have experienced, sacrificed, and endured over the last 12 months. We are forever grateful to the men and women who show up every day despite all odds to care for the sickest and most vulnerable members of our community! 2020 Hospital and Patient Support in Review 50 Fred Meyer gift cards for grocery delivery to discharging COVID-19 positive patients 434 patients were clothed by our Emergency Clothing Closet 24 virtual gentle yoga and nutrition classes offered to patients in the Cancer Center 60 car seats for newborns in need in the Family Child Birth Center $602,522 donated to assist with the purchase of a MAKO Robot to provide the most advanced treatment for knee and hip replacements $155,000 to purchase an Endobronchial Ultra Sound which helps in diagnosing and determining stages of lung cancer $17,782 to purchase 2 specialized emergency room patient beds Thanks to donors like you, the Foundation provided necessary equipment and items for patients in need this year. As the pandemic continued on, we saw an increased need in many basic items that affect our patients overall wellbeing. Like most things in 2020, our annual gala looked very different than it normally does! Thank you to over 250 viewers of our first ever virtual gala who watched online and supported the St. Anne Hospital Foundation mission! We raised over $175,000 to help us go above and beyond for patients and staff at the hospital. We appreciate the support and your flexibility in engaging with us virtually. 2020 Virtual To Your Health! Gala Save the Date for this year’s Gala! On October 23rd, we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the To Your Health! Gala. Over the last year, the Foundation went above and beyond in providing patients with the following: In 2020 St. Anne Hospital Foundation was proud to provide hospital employees with the following: 10 Employee Assistance grants of $1,000 each to staff members going through financial hardship 5 Paul Tucker scholarships to St. Anne Hospital staff members who are pursuing continued education 700 stress relief kits to hospital staff to promote relaxation and stress management Over 1,300 coffee drinks to keep our health care heroes energized during long shifts 5 Gratitude meals for staff 16 weekly snack carts in unit break rooms 300 hospital employees attended the Foundation’s Health & Wellness Fair in February Many donations of PPE, wipes, hand sanitizer, masks, etc. 2020 Employee Support in Review
